Stephen Kinsella, BA, MA
With new roads, come new obstacles. Most of us face twists and turns in our life, and most of us have some skills to deal with such obstacles. No matter who we are though, sometimes obstacles such as depression and anxiety can block us from moving forward. Often times, we are presented with a crossroads in our life, with no idea of how best to proceed. With the help of Balance Within Therapy, you are not alone in this journey

I completed my BA (Hons) Degree in Psychology, in 2012, from Dublin Business School, before completing my MA in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, in 2015, from ICHAS, Limerick. I have been a counsellor for many years, and currently a fully accredited member of the APCP, providing services for a range of organisations, such as Sosad, Drogheda & Navan, where I provide counselling and psychotherapy services, as well as having worked in the past with the ISPCC. I have also worked closely with St Michael's House, in Dublin, and with the Green St Unit, in Dublin, in the past.
Prior to studying psychology and therapy, I worked in a variety of different jobs and sectors, such as security, construction, and agriculture, all of which have fed into my current mind set. I deal with people from all walks of life, and I would like to think I can empathise and sympathise with their experiences.

Your mental health is very important to us at Balance Within. To go back to the road analogy above, sometimes it's okay to stop and take a break along that journey. Sometimes, it's even better to have someone share that journey with you.
